Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Chris Pilgrim took the kick off in the first half of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 2nd minute, Sacha Pearce managed to get in a good position for a shot. Galacticos's supporters rose to their feet, but Sacha Pearce was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Seth Piercy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Erik Wennerqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Seth Piercy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Seth Piercy didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Erik Wennerqvist went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. David Donnelly could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Honorato Jeraldo made a huge save. David Donnelly fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Honorato Jeraldo having to interfere. A collision led to Galacticos getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Michael Duggan hit a great ball. Kristian Robins struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Honorato Jeraldo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for South Lawn FC. Honorato Jeraldo made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when David Donnelly sent off a good shot on target. South Lawn FC's Seth Piercy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Des Conway in the 35th minute of play. Honorato Jeraldo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chris Pilgrim in the 42nd minute of play. 42 minutes into the game, Kristian Robins was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. South Lawn FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Galacticos the free kick. After a rather tough play, South Lawn FC's Kristian Robins got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Honorato Jeraldo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chris Pilgrim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Erik Wennerqvist made the kick off in the second half. Ty King kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. 54 minutes into the match, South Lawn FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zaq Mahon came free, but Seth Piercy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, South Lawn FC's Seth Piercy got control of the ball when Sacha Pearce tried to sneak it across the goal line. Galacticos's Honorato Jeraldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Donnelly in the 63rd minute of play. The referee ignored South Lawn FC's protests and gave Chris Pilgrim a yellow card for diving instead. Seth Piercy stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Erik Wennerqvist's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. In the 73rd minute, South Lawn FC's Leroy Hilton seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Leroy Hilton the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of South Lawn FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Leroy Hilton had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The goalkeeper, Seth Piercy, was totally fooled by Galacticos's Erik Wennerqvist, who 74 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Sacha Pearce took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Seth Piercy. Seth Piercy dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Sacha Pearce sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Seth Piercy made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sacha Pearce in the 89th minute. Seth Piercy stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Erik Wennerqvist's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. Seth Piercy made an important save on a dangerous shot by Erik Wennerqvist in the 97th minute. Galacticos played a much better game than South Lawn FC and deserved their victory. The South Lawn FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
