Rueben Higgins showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Toby Weatherhead in the 11th minute of the match. Rueben Higgins made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Toby Weatherhead in the 16th minute of play. The throw-in from Garth Bowden in the 20th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by London Army United's Len Hayles. Rueben Higgins showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Toby Weatherhead in the 20th minute of the match. Johnnie Swinscoe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Toby Weatherhead fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored London Army United's protests and gave Toby Weatherhead a yellow card for diving instead. Toby Weatherhead kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Johnnie Swinscoe received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Damien Steele came out and tried to block the shot, but Johnnie Swinscoe slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 31st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ruben Brighton got free with Damien Steele in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 37th minute, Richie Maclean made a precise shot to the right of Rueben Higgins. The Glass Cannon's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. With a little luck, London Army United's Damien Steele got control of the ball when Vince Craven tried to sneak it across the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Johnnie Swinscoe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind London Army United's goalkeeper Damien Steele, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Johnnie Swinscoe managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Glass Cannon's supporters rose to their feet, but Johnnie Swinscoe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Damien Steele breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 55 minutes into the game, Den Sargent cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Damien Steele was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Damien Steele took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ruben Brighton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Damien Steele showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vince Craven, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Richie Maclean kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rueben Higgins. That made the score 2-2 in the 67 minute of play. Toby Weatherhead got his second yellow card in the match during the 77th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of The Glass Cannon booed when London Army United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Toby Weatherhead didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 80th minute The Glass Cannon were awarded a corner. Ron Barnes went to the cornerflag to take it. The Glass Cannon's Ruben Brighton was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Damien Steele in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 81 minutes into the match, The Glass Cannon's goalkeeper Rueben Higgins had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Richie Maclean. If Vince Craven had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Johnnie Swinscoe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Damien Steele tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Damien Steele made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johnnie Swinscoe in the 92nd minute of play. 94 minutes into the match, Johnnie Swinscoe notched a goal, 4-2, to the right of London Army United's Damien Steele. Damien Steele was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
