With his leg Denzil Brazier managed to avoid a goal in the 35thth minute, when Washinkai Warriors's Benji Hanson fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 38 minutes Washinkai Warriors's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Devon Rathmell who took care of the corner kick. Everton's Devon Rathmell was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Richie Postolan in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Everton's Denzil Brazier proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Everton from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Washinkai Warriors getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Calvin Clark hit a great ball. Denzil Brazier made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benji Hanson in the 46th minute. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Oliver Foley stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Benji Hanson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Denzil Brazier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Denzil Brazier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benji Hanson, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Benji Hanson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Denzil Brazier read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. Washinkai Warriors's supporters rose to their feet, but Joe Kendall was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Denzil Brazier breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
