Beckton's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave London Army United the free kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Richie Maclean during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 8th match minute, London Army United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Richie Maclean to maneuver through the defense. When Beckton's Drew Merrill in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye London Army United's goalie prevented a goal. After 12 minutes of play, London Army United's Toby Weatherhead made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pierce Bennett was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sacha Nightingale kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Beckton's Marc Broom got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 18th minute Drew Merrill shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damien Steele saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 18th minute, Grant Jennings hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 22 played minutes Richie Maclean rounded Beckton's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. When Jim Millman fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Beckton's protests and gave Jim Millman a yellow card for diving instead. In the 27th minute, Jim Millman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pierce Bennett came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by London Army United's Toby Weatherhead. But to his dismay, Toby Weatherhead quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Toby Weatherhead could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Pierce Bennett made a huge save. Beckton's Pierce Bennett played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Richie Maclean in the 40th minute of play. Joey Childs got a throw-in 45 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Russell Brownlow. Pierce Bennett made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carlton Bateson in the 47th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Toby Weatherhead made a kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Beckton's goal looked a bit too open when Toby Weatherhead came free, but Pierce Bennett reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pierce Bennett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Toby Weatherhead in the 61st minute of the match. The supporters of Beckton booed when London Army United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Callum Harrison didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jay Beale was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 83rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 87 minutes into the match, Sacha Nightingale notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Beckton's Pierce Bennett. Pierce Bennett was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. London Army United's Toby Weatherhead got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Toby Weatherhead had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 96 minutes into the match, London Army United's goal looked a bit too open when Drew Merrill came free, but Damien Steele reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. London Army United had won after a very even match.
