The crowd rose to their feet as Vern Southgate kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Damien Steele. That made the score 1-0 in the 18 minute of play. Damien Steele made an important save on a dangerous shot by Josh Wilmott in the 21st minute. In the 22nd match minute, Czeladzianie was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fred Browne to maneuver through the defense. 25 minutes into the match, London Army United's goal looked a bit too open when Vern Southgate came free, but Damien Steele reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vern Southgate received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Damien Steele tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 33rd minute Vern Southgate shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damien Steele saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 37th minute, Toby Weatherhead left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The London Army United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Damien Steele made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vern Southgate in the 40th minute of play. After 45 minutes, Rufus Deaconsfield mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the London Army United and the Czeladzianie players grew even worse after the yellow card. London Army United's Damien Steele played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vern Southgate in the 47th minute of play.

Damien Steele took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vern Southgate, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Damien Steele showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Josh Wilmott in the 82nd minute of the match. Czeladzianie's supporters crossed their fingers, but Josh Wilmott was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Damien Steele showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vern Southgate, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. After having played for 92 minutes, Fred Browne managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Czeladzianie's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fred Browne was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Damien Steele took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vern Southgate, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vern Southgate kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. London Army United walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
