Richie Maclean struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Denzil Brazier didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for London Army United. In the 42nd minute, Edward McKeown hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Toby Weatherhead was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 42nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. London Army United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Everton the free kick. After some careless play in the London Army United defense, Oliver Foley kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Damien Steele. The London Army United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Damien Steele should have stopped the shot. Rod Summers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
