The supporters of THFC Youth Academy booed when London Army United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sacha Nightingale didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Alex Blower managed to get in a good position for a shot. THFC Youth Academy's supporters rose to their feet, but Alex Blower was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Damien Steele breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kevin Tonkin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Toby Weatherhead's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. In the 13th minute Toby Weatherhead shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kevin Tonkin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When London Army United's Toby Weatherhead in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. London Army United's defense didn't have a chance, in the 15th minute, when Alexander Bolton scored to the left of an out of position Damien Steele, making the score, 1-0. Alec Owen kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. When Rupert Courtney came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the THFC Youth Academy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rupert Courtney couldn't finish the play. 23 minutes into the game, Stuart Osbourn recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Damien Steele. Stuart Osbourn showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. THFC Youth Academy's Kevin Tonkin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Toby Weatherhead in the 29th minute of play. Kevin Tonkin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Toby Weatherhead in the 32nd minute of the match. THFC Youth Academy's Kevin Tonkin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Toby Weatherhead in the 35th minute of play. Damien Steele was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Robert Caine. In the 45th minute, Toby Weatherhead got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Stuart Osbourn to strike the kick off in the second half. Alec Owen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kevin Tonkin having to interfere. 56 minutes into the match, Toby Weatherhead had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kevin Tonkin. THFC Youth Academy's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Toby Weatherhead was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. 59 minutes into the match, THFC Youth Academy's goalkeeper Kevin Tonkin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Toby Weatherhead. 61 minutes into the match, London Army United's goal looked a bit too open when Alex Blower came free, but Damien Steele reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Damien Steele made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stuart Osbourn in the 62nd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Toby Weatherhead kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Kevin Tonkin. That made the score 2-2 in the 64 minute of play. 2-3 became the score in the 68th minute when Richie Maclean elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 73rd minute, London Army United's Toby Weatherhead dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-4. When Alexander Bolton fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored THFC Youth Academy's protests and gave Alexander Bolton a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, THFC Youth Academy's Alexander Bolton got a free kick in the 76th minute. THFC Youth Academy's Alexander Bolton got his second yellow card of the match in the 80th minute. The referee ordered Alexander Bolton off the ground. The supporters of London Army United booed when THFC Youth Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Toby Weatherhead who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 88thth minute tested the skills of Kevin Tonkin when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Richie Maclean in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kevin Tonkin saved THFC Youth Academy from getting behind. Alec Owen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Kevin Tonkin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in London Army United's zone, Alex Blower stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Damien Steele came out of the goal and Alex Blower tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. London Army United's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
