Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Oliver Foley made the kick off which started today's match. In the 3rd minute Rich Radcliffe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Denzil Brazier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Denzil Brazier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erik Wennerqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. After 6 minutes Everton's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Rich Radcliffe who took care of the corner kick. 9 minutes into the match, Everton's goal looked a bit too open when Erik Wennerqvist came free, but Denzil Brazier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 14 minutes, Oliver Foley managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Everton's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oliver Foley was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 15th minute, Erik Wennerqvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Everton getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Ronnie Watts hit a great ball. Devon Rathmell hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. In the 23rd minute Rod Summers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Honorato Jeraldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Erik Wennerqvist's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Denzil Brazier was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. Denzil Brazier stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zaq Mahon's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Ronnie Watts hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. 38 minutes into the game, Erik Wennerqvist cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Denzil Brazier was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Denzil Brazier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erik Wennerqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sacha Pearce in the 46th minute of play forced Everton's goalkeeper Denzil Brazier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Everton's Oliver Foley got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The wind increased when Erik Wennerqvist made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Erik Wennerqvist in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Denzil Brazier saved Everton from getting behind. Ronnie Watts kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Galacticos's Sol Hargraves slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Denzil Brazier. That made the score 1-3 after 67 minutes of play. When the match clock showed 71 minutes, the score became 1-4 when Sacha Pearce sped through Everton's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Denzil Brazier. After 80 minutes of play, Everton's Oliver Foley made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Honorato Jeraldo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Erik Wennerqvist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Denzil Brazier made a huge save. 93 minutes into the match, Everton's goal looked a bit too open when Sacha Pearce came free, but Denzil Brazier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rod Summers in the 96th minute of play forced Galacticos's goalkeeper Honorato Jeraldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Everton supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Galacticos's performance. The match ended with a win for Galacticos.
