Spectators: 7550 (Terracing: 6000, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 50) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Russ Maxwell took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Manchester Devils's goalkeeper Tommy Ellis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Czeladzianie's Vern Southgate got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 11 minutes in the game Tyler Wood did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Russ Maxwell. If Vern Southgate had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tommy Ellis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frazer Clayton in the 15th minute of the match. Niall Beasley took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ralf Cowling, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Manchester Devils's Deon Ellerton slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Niall Beasley. That made the score 1-0 after 19 minutes of play. After some careless play in the Czeladzianie defense, Russ Maxwell kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Niall Beasley. The Czeladzianie fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Niall Beasley should have stopped the shot. Niall Beasley was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Tyler Wood showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 26 minute of play. Czeladzianie's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Ralf Cowling 29 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 4-0. Niall Beasley made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Russ Maxwell sent off a good shot on target. Niall Beasley didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ralf Cowling went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Czeladzianie's Sonny Sparks got a free kick in the 38th minute. Niall Beasley was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Deon Ellerton showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 6-0 in the 40 minute of play. Niall Beasley was a little too slow when Russ Maxwell got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 48th minute. The score was now 7-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 7-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vern Southgate was the one to do the kick off. 58 minutes into the game, Deon Ellerton cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Niall Beasley was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 63 minutes of play, Manchester Devils's Russ Maxwell made it 9-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Niall Beasley was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Manchester Devils's goalkeeper Tommy Ellis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Greg Holbrook made in the 78th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Manchester Devils's Nicky Marenghi. 79 minutes into the match, Czeladzianie's goal looked a bit too open when Deon Ellerton came free, but Niall Beasley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 82 minutes, Deon Ellerton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Manchester Devils's supporters crossed their fingers, but Deon Ellerton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Deon Ellerton in the 86th minute of play forced Czeladzianie's goalkeeper Niall Beasley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Niall Beasley took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Russ Maxwell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 94th minute Ralf Cowling shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niall Beasley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Niall Beasley showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Russ Maxwell, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. Manchester Devils walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
