After a defensive mix-up in Legia's zone, Oliver Foley stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Trev Fitter came out of the goal and Oliver Foley tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oliver Foley in the 14th minute of play forced Legia's goalkeeper Trev Fitter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rod Summers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rod Summers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Trev Fitter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 21 played minutes Everton got a freekick which was hit by Brad Nethercot. Denzil Brazier was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Brendon Coton. Trev Fitter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rod Summers, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. The audience was convinced that Oliver Foley's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Trev Fitter was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Legia's zone, Oliver Foley stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Trev Fitter came out of the goal and Oliver Foley tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Pete Silk came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Everton fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pete Silk couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Seth Summerfield got free with Denzil Brazier in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Trev Fitter stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Oliver Foley's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. In the 41st match minute, Legia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leo Freeman to maneuver through the defense. Rod Summers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 47 minutes into the match, Legia's goal looked a bit too open when Oliver Foley came free, but Trev Fitter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for CJ Brady to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Everton's Oliver Foley sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Trev Fitter narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 55th match minute, Everton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pete Silk to maneuver through the defense. After 56 played minutes, Legia's Brendon Coton shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Denzil Brazier came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Legia reached it. In the 59th minute of the match Isaac Longstaffe shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Denzil Brazier showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 60th minute, CJ Brady made a precise shot to the right of Denzil Brazier. Everton's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. In the 64th minute, Legia's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Pete Silk fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oliver Foley in the 65th minute of play forced Legia's goalkeeper Trev Fitter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Rod Summers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Isaac Longstaffe hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. In the 86th minute, Michael Wardle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Oliver Foley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Through an outstanding action, after 91 minutes, Trev Fitter successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 95th minute of the match, Rod Summers tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Trev Fitter saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Despite being the better team, Everton failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
