With an all-out effort, Yarmouth Celtic's Billy Gilmour threw himself towards the right post 12 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Crispin Tabb, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Göyüş Ziyadov blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ruben Lynam having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Göyüş Ziyadov in the 19th minute of play forced Yarmouth Celtic's goalkeeper Ruben Lynam to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Billy Gilmour showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Crispin Tabb in the 20th minute of the match. If Göyüş Ziyadov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 36th minute, Richard Varela left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Royston FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. 42 minutes into the match, Lewis Willmott had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ruben Lynam. Yarmouth Celtic's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lewis Willmott was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Ruben Lynam showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Richard Varela in the 48th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Crispin Tabb stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Göyüş Ziyadov came free with the goalkeeper in the 52nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ruben Lynam could save by the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as Göyüş Ziyadov kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ruben Lynam. That made the score 0-5 in the 54 minute of play. 57 minutes into the match, Göyüş Ziyadov notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Yarmouth Celtic's Ruben Lynam. Ruben Lynam was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Göyüş Ziyadov made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 63rdth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Ruben Lynam would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Richard Varela managed to get in a good position for a shot. Royston FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Richard Varela was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ruben Lynam breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Crispin Tabb charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Crispin Tabb the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 67th match minute, Yarmouth Celtic was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Crispin Tabb to maneuver through the defense. 70 minutes into the game, Rufus Sheehan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Yarmouth Celtic's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Royston FC the free kick. When Göyüş Ziyadov came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Royston FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Göyüş Ziyadov couldn't finish the play. Richard Varela did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-7 to the left of a surprised Ruben Lynam 79 minutes into the match. After having played for 84 minutes, Göyüş Ziyadov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Royston FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Göyüş Ziyadov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A hard shot 86 in the game by Göyüş Ziyadov from a close distance when the talented Ruben Lynam managed to make a qualified save. Yarmouth Celtic's players were relieved. 89 minutes into the match, Yarmouth Celtic's goalkeeper Ruben Lynam had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Göyüş Ziyadov. Ruben Lynam made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Göyüş Ziyadov sent off a good shot on target. Yarmouth Celtic's defense didn't have a chance, in the 94th minute, when Richard Varela scored to the left of an out of position Ruben Lynam, making the score, 0-8.
