Vern Wadham showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vince Stone in the 13th minute of the match. In the 14th minute, Vince Stone reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Vern Wadham. The goal made the score 2-0. In the 16th minute, Nathanial Thorne hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vern Wadham made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. With a little luck, Muswell Hill's Vern Wadham got control of the ball when Fahrettin Türel tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kev Dumpleton charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kev Dumpleton the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 58th minute Vince Stone shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vern Wadham saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vince Stone took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 59th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Vern Wadham. When Adrian Orchard fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored RonnyFC's protests and gave Adrian Orchard a yellow card for diving instead. Fahrettin Türel scored 10-0 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vern Wadham, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Muswell Hill's Vern Wadham played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fahrettin Türel in the 93rd minute of play. In the 95th match minute, Muswell Hill was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Darryl Heath to maneuver through the defense. Vern Wadham took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wesley Brent, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
