Spectators: 6959 (Terracing: 5959, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jake Dodd took the kick off in the first half of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Frazer Senior during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 6th minute, Frazer Senior hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jake Dodd in the 7th minute of play forced Sheringham AFC's goalkeeper Den Allott to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Anonymous FC's Ralph Miles got a free kick in the 8th minute. In the 13th minute Rich Canning shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Den Allott saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 15th minute, Jake Dodd ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Den Allott was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. When Stew Elliott fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sheringham AFC's protests and gave Stew Elliott a yellow card for diving instead. After 22 played minutes Sheringham AFC got a freekick which was hit by Stew Elliott. 24 minutes into the match, Sheringham AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Jake Dodd came free, but Den Allott reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sheringham AFC's Den Allott played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jake Dodd in the 26th minute of play. After 34 minutes, Ian Barnfield mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sheringham AFC and the Anonymous FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 34th minute, Ian Barnfield hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rich Canning kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. After 43 played minutes, Anonymous FC's Nathan Hargreaves shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Den Allott came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Anonymous FC reached it. In the 44th minute Nicholas Bennett shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andy Husband saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Romeo Colton could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Den Allott made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Liam Boulding got free with Den Allott in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 79 played minutes Sheringham AFC got a freekick which was hit by Camron Leslie. In the 80th minute, Jake Dodd got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ian Barnfield hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. In the 86th match minute, Anonymous FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nathan Hargreaves to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Sheringham AFC's zone, Jake Dodd stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Den Allott came out of the goal and Jake Dodd tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Romeo Colton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Den Allott tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Rich Canning had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match was over Anonymous FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Sheringham AFC throughout the match.
