Seating: 1836, VIP seats: 159) London Athletic's Louie Medlin started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Exeter's Stan Cain dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. A collision led to London Athletic getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. CJ Taylor hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Exeter's zone, Sol Cox stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kevin Watson came out of the goal and Sol Cox tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ben Murray charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ben Murray the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ben Murray kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. In the 12th match minute, London Athletic was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Van Der Hoorn to maneuver through the defense. After 14 played minutes London Athletic got a freekick which was hit by Wilson Netto. Matias Bulhosa made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Lewis Rigg sent off a good shot on target. The long shot by Pete Cooper in the 18th minute really tested Matias Bulhosa's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 20th minute, Exeter's Stan Cain ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Matias Bulhosa. Matias Bulhosa yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. 27 minutes into the match, London Athletic's Louie Medlin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kevin Watson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. David Van Der Hoorn kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Rod Younger hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Lewis Rigg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matias Bulhosa having to interfere. In the 37th match minute, Exeter was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ben Murray to maneuver through the defense. 39 minutes into the match, London Athletic's goal looked a bit too open when Stan Cain came free, but Matias Bulhosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
The wind increased when Stan Cain made the kick off in the second half. Matias Bulhosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stan Cain, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. London Athletic's Matias Bulhosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stan Cain in the 56th minute of play. Stan Cain scored 3-0 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Matias Bulhosa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Matias Bulhosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lewis Rigg, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Sol Cox charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sol Cox the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Exeter booed when London Athletic was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sol Cox didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stan Cain in the 63rd minute of play forced London Athletic's goalkeeper Matias Bulhosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Louie Medlin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Exeter getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Pete Cooper hit a great ball. Louie Medlins short, quick shot in the 72ndth minute got Kevin Watson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Matias Bulhosa came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Exeter's Stan Cain. But to his dismay, Stan Cain quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Louie Medlin in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kevin Watson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 79th minute Sebastian Webster shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kevin Watson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Louie Medlin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Lewis Rigg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Stan Cain in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Matias Bulhosa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Exeter's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Karl Weedon in the 86th minute. The corner led Exeter's Karl Weedon to fire away a dangerous shot which Matias Bulhosa despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Matias Bulhosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stan Cain in the 89th minute of the match. Kevin Watson didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when London Athletic's Louie Medlin shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 4-1 in the ordered_time% minute. 96 minutes into the match, London Athletic's CJ Taylor sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kevin Watson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Exeter were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of London Athletic for a fine match.
