Spectators: 7001 (Terracing: 6001, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Wirral Town FC's Stewart Probert started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Den Allott made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stewart Locke in the 5th minute of play. In the 7th minute Darius Bailey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Den Allott saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stewart Locke scored 0-1 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Den Allott, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Den Allott took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stewart Probert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 15th minute Stewart Probert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Den Allott saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In a very dangerous position, a player in Sheringham AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 16th minute. Penalty! In the 17th minute there was a penalty for Wirral Town FC. Stewart Probert stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Den Allott. 0-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nicholas Bennett in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tod Ingram prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Wirral Town FC's Seth Mabbutt suffered a concussion after 26 minutes and had to leave the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Stew Elliott during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 28 played minutes Sheringham AFC got a freekick which was hit by Stew Elliott. In the 31st match minute, Wirral Town FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Timothy Knightley to maneuver through the defense. When Nicholas Bennett came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Sheringham AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicholas Bennett couldn't finish the play. Frazer Senior got a throw-in 36 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Nicholas Bennett. Tod Ingram came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Sheringham AFC's Nicholas Bennett. But to his dismay, Nicholas Bennett quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Den Allott showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stewart Probert in the 41st minute of the match. Den Allott took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stewart Probert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 45th minute Stewart Locke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Den Allott saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Nicholas Bennett made the kick off in the second half. Wirral Town FC's Stewart Locke got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Sheringham AFC's Jim Ainge got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Callum Banks kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Den Allott showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stewart Locke, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Den Allott was out of position in the 71 minute of play, and Stewart Probert capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Stewart Probert really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. Frazer Senior's late challenge caught a Wirral Town FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Frazer Senior helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Sheringham AFC's Frazer Senior got a free kick in the 76th minute. Den Allott made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Stewart Probert sent off a good shot on target. 79 minutes into the game, Stewart Locke recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Den Allott. Stewart Locke showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. Den Allott showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Casey Gordon in the 82nd minute of the match. With a little luck, Sheringham AFC's Den Allott got control of the ball when Stewart Probert tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Stewart Locke took a quick shot and it went in 1-5 without a chance for Den Allott to make any attempt to save it. Den Allott didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 93rd minute, which inside left pole to 1-6. Wirral Town FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
