London Athletic's Matias Bulhosa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save London Athletic from getting a goal against them. Sol Cox sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Nathanial Thorne fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Muswell Hill's protests and gave Nathanial Thorne a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Muswell Hill getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Nathanial Thorne hit a great ball. After 13 minutes, David Harris mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Muswell Hill and the London Athletic players grew even worse after the yellow card. David Harris hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. When Sol Cox came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the London Athletic fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sol Cox couldn't finish the play. London Athletic's attentive David Van Der Hoorn managed to snatch the ball when Lloyd Cartwright made a throw-in in the 17th minute of the game. Muswell Hill's Vern Wadham played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sol Cox in the 19th minute of play. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Muswell Hill's goalkeeper Vern Wadham, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. David Van Der Hoorn kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Vern Wadham showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Louie Medlin in the 28th minute of the match. Sol Cox recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 30th match minute, London Athletic was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sol Cox to maneuver through the defense. Through an outstanding action, after 31 minutes, Matias Bulhosa successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 32nd minute, David Harris had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. After 32 minutes of play London Athletic's Sol Cox was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Muswell Hill booed when London Athletic was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sol Cox didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Muswell Hill's zone, Sebastian Webster stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vern Wadham came out of the goal and Sebastian Webster tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Louie Medlin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vern Wadham having to interfere. After 46 minutes, Nath Steed mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Muswell Hill and the London Athletic players grew even worse after the yellow card.

Sebastian Webster held his arms out in dispair when he, after a nice solo performance in the 52nd minute, finished the attack by shooting the ball on the wrong side of the right post. Sebastian Webster might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vern Wadham. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sebastian Webster ran back to his position shaking his head. Louie Medlin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Vern Wadham made a huge save. Nathanial Thorne took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 61st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Matias Bulhosa. London Athletic's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Nath Steed fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matias Bulhosa having to interfere. CJ Taylor charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed CJ Taylor the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to London Athletic getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. CJ Taylor hit a great ball. Nathanial Thorne's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Matias Bulhosa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. In the 87th minute, Louie Medlin fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Vern Wadham, passed just outside the right post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nath Steed in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Matias Bulhosa saved London Athletic from getting behind. London Athletic were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
