Nicholas Cooke showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Philip Willetts in the 7th minute of the match. After 10 minutes of play, Sittingbourne United's Jimmy Widdrington made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nicholas Cooke was left in no man's land by his defense there! 15 minutes into the match, Sittingbourne United's goal looked a bit too open when Blair Moyse came free, but Rupert Butterfield reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Blair Moyse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rupert Butterfield having to interfere. Nicholas Cooke showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jimmy Widdrington in the 20th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Elsdon's Ash Humphreys got a free kick in the 22nd minute. After 26 minutes of play, Sittingbourne United's Dane Bailey made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nicholas Cooke was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 33rd minute Philip Willetts shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicholas Cooke saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jimmy Widdrington to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Philip Willetts notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Elsdon's Nicholas Cooke. Nicholas Cooke was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 61 minutes into the match, Blair Moyse had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rupert Butterfield. Sittingbourne United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Blair Moyse was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. Philip Willetts sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 70 minutes into the match, Elsdon's goal looked a bit too open when Jimmy Widdrington came free, but Nicholas Cooke reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rupert Butterfield showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Blair Moyse, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. 74 minutes into the match, Philip Willetts had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nicholas Cooke. Elsdon's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Philip Willetts was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-5. 78 minutes into the match, Elsdon's goalkeeper Nicholas Cooke had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Justin Goacher. A collision led to Elsdon getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Marty Stonehouse hit a great ball. Darius Denham took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 85th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Nicholas Cooke. Elsdon's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Philip Willetts's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Nicholas Cooke firmly grabbed it by the left post. Nicholas Cooke was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jimmy Widdrington showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-6 in the 88 minute of play. Elsdon's Nicholas Cooke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jimmy Widdrington in the 91st minute of play. Blair Moyse might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rupert Butterfield. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Blair Moyse ran back to his position shaking his head. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Sittingbourne United had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
