Spectators: 8138 (Terracing: 6104, Seating: 1872, VIP seats: 162) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Celestino Lazcano kicked off to start the match. Greg Albright blasted a shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nicholas Cooke having to make a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Celestino Lazcano in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nicholas Cooke saved Elsdon from getting behind. In the 10th minute, Eric Jepson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Greg Albright recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Elsdon getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Eric Jepson hit a great ball. In the 20th minute, Cornell Campbell fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 20 minutes into the game, Celestino Lazcano recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Nicholas Cooke. Celestino Lazcano showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. After a rather tough play, Elsdon's Marlon Atkins got a free kick in the 24th minute. Nicholas Cooke made an important save on a dangerous shot by Connor Barber in the 24th minute. The Derby County F.C. fans' excitement grew in the 26th match minute when Derby County F.C.'s Celestino Lazcano looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Nicholas Cooke showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celestino Lazcano in the 29th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Derby County F.C.'s zone, Blair Moyse stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anton Davids came out of the goal and Blair Moyse tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 34 minutes into the game, Greg Albright recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Nicholas Cooke. Greg Albright showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Derby County F.C.'s Celestino Lazcano slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Nicholas Cooke. That made the score 5-0 after 41 minutes of play. After 48 minutes of play, Derby County F.C.'s Celestino Lazcano made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nicholas Cooke was left in no man's land by his defense there! The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 6-0.

In the 55th minute, Celestino Lazcano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nicholas Cooke was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. Shawn Hall kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. When Brett Varley came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Elsdon fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brett Varley couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Elsdon defense, Celestino Lazcano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nicholas Cooke. The Elsdon fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nicholas Cooke should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celestino Lazcano in the 72nd minute of play forced Elsdon's goalkeeper Nicholas Cooke to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Derby County F.C. getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Celestino Lazcano hit a great ball. 78 minutes into the match, Celestino Lazcano notched a goal, 10-0, to the right of Elsdon's Nicholas Cooke. Nicholas Cooke was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Nicholas Cooke took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celestino Lazcano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anton Davids showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Blair Moyse in the 89th minute of the match. Bernard Porajewski hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. If Ivor Henwood had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nicholas Cooke showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernard Porajewski in the 96th minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Derby County F.C. fully deserved thier win.
