Rupert Butterfield made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nathanial Norton in the 22nd minute of play. 23 minutes into the game, Kris Baker was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Siauliai City's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sittingbourne United the free kick. In the 23rd match minute, FC Siauliai City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kris Baker to maneuver through the defense. In the 27th minute, Kris Baker left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Siauliai City fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. A collision led to Sittingbourne United getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Johnathan England hit a great ball. FC Siauliai City's Silvester Dixon shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 48th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Rupert Butterfield but with some difficulty. Disappointed in the 1-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jimmy Widdrington made a kick off. Justin Goacher kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. In the 53rd minute, Donald Bowden hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 56 minutes into the match, Sittingbourne United's goal looked a bit too open when Kris Baker came free, but Rupert Butterfield reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Justin Goacher was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 60th minute. Sittingbourne United's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Philip Willetts's late challenge caught a FC Siauliai City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Philip Willetts helped the player get up and apologised. In the 63rd minute, Philip Willetts hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Silvester Dixon took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 68th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rupert Butterfield.
