Thanks to some nice moves Rodney Sheldon could shoot a difficult shot in the 27th minute, which Rory Lawson however easily saved by the left post. In the 36th minute, Kestelburn Village's Kevin Beech ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Rory Lawson. Rory Lawson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. Rory Lawson was a little too slow when Wesley Morrison got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 39th minute. The score was now 3-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ron Salt during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 42 played minutes Kestelburn Village got a freekick which was hit by Ron Salt. Kestelburn Village's attentive Wesley Morrison managed to snatch the ball when Mattias Armitage made a throw-in in the 47th minute of the game. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-2. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Martyn Warden made a kick off. Craig Oates made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Kris Baker sent off a good shot on target. Rory Lawson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martyn Warden, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martyn Warden in the 69th minute of play forced FC Siauliai City's goalkeeper Rory Lawson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The throw-in from Ivan Simpson in the 72nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Kestelburn Village's Ron Salt. Wesley Morrison hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. A collision led to FC Siauliai City getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Ray Scriven hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Kestelburn Village's Martyn Warden got a free kick in the 85th minute. Rodney Sheldon kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Kestelburn Village succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though FC Siauliai City had controlled the match.
