After having played for 11 minutes, Jasper Rawson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC ZUPANY's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jasper Rawson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Niall Pryor in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paddy Carpenter prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 26th match minute, FC ZUPANY was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Barrie Amos to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Niall Pryor's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Paddy Carpenter was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. David Gettins was the one to do the kick off. When Jools Button came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the West Buckland AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jools Button couldn't finish the play. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see West Buckland AFC lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
