Frank Osbourne scored 0-1 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mick Thomson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jimmy Dickens's late challenge caught a Warriors's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jimmy Dickens helped the player get up and apologised. Jimmy Dickens hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. 18 minutes into the match, Warriors's Quint Verlengia broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Jimmy Dickens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Warriors's Buster Browning got a free kick in the 24th minute. Victor Mallon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Warriors's Mick Thomson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Osbourne in the 31st minute of play. Mick Thomson came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Barca's Frank Osbourne. But to his dismay, Frank Osbourne quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Mick Thomson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Osbourne in the 37th minute of play. The throw-in from Vince Lincoln in the 38th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Barca's Jimmy Dickens. Frank Osbourne scored 0-3 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mick Thomson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Frank Osbourne's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mick Thomson was relentless in the 47th minute of the game. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Atalay Fidan to make the kick off. Victor Mallon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mick Thomson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. Frank Osbournes short, quick shot in the 62ndth minute got Mick Thomson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Frank Osbourne managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barca's supporters rose to their feet, but Frank Osbourne was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mick Thomson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Frank Osbourne could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Mick Thomson made a huge save. When Victor Mallon in the 68th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Mick Thomson kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 0-4 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Frank Osbourne in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mick Thomson saved Warriors from getting behind. Pali Zapala took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Atalay Fidan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Victor Mallon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Barca defense, Atalay Fidan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pali Zapala. The Barca fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pali Zapala should have stopped the shot. 89 minutes into the game, Rufus Mills was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Barca's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Warriors the free kick. In the 89th match minute, Barca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rufus Mills to maneuver through the defense. Frank Osbourne fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mick Thomson having to interfere. Mick Thomson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Frank Osbourne in the 95th minute. Barca's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
