Pali Zapala showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jasper Rawson, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Paddy Carpenter made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Frank Osbourne sent off a good shot on target. Paddy Carpenter was out of position in the 45 minute of play, and Frank Osbourne capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Frank Osbourne really showed his touch with that goal: 5-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. David Gettins was the one to do the kick off. Paddy Carpenter was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 73 minutes into the match, FC ZUPANY's goal looked a bit too open when Victor Mallon came free, but Paddy Carpenter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 74 minutes into the game, Victor Mallon cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-1. Paddy Carpenter was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Paddy Carpenter came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Barca's Victor Mallon. But to his dismay, Victor Mallon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-1.
