Mick Thomson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Seb Morrell in the 10th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, F.C. United of Hull's goalkeeper Jeffrey Huckerby had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Atalay Fidan. Atalay Fidan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Warriors fans' excitement grew in the 15th match minute when Warriors's Yakov Taktarov looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Jeffrey Huckerby made an important save on a dangerous shot by Atalay Fidan in the 18th minute. 22 minutes into the game, Quint Verlengia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Warriors's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave F.C. United of Hull the free kick. After 22 played minutes Warriors got a freekick which was hit by Quint Verlengia. Beinn Woodyat made in the 27th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Warriors's Quint Verlengia. Atalay Fidan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeffrey Huckerby having to interfere. Mick Thomson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yağız Ulaç, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Atalay Fidan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jeffrey Huckerby having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in F.C. United of Hull's zone, Leroy Easter stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jeffrey Huckerby came out of the goal and Leroy Easter tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jeffrey Huckerby made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Atalay Fidan in the 43rd minute of play. When Quint Verlengia was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 45 minutes had been played. A collision led to Warriors getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Quint Verlengia hit a great ball. When Perry Lambourne came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the F.C. United of Hull fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Perry Lambourne couldn't finish the play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leroy Easter to make the kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Perry Lambourne managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. F.C. United of Hull's supporters crossed their fingers, but Perry Lambourne was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Buster Browning fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeffrey Huckerby having to interfere. 68 minutes into the game, Warriors's Buster Browning nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jeffrey Huckerby made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. A collision led to F.C. United of Hull getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Den Lock hit a great ball. Mick Thomson was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Beinn Woodyat. With 85 minutes on the clock, Buster Browning commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 86 played minutes Warriors got a freekick which was hit by Buster Browning. 92 minutes into the game, Robert Ellis threw the ball into play from the sideline. Warriors's Barto Gil quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After some careless play in the F.C. United of Hull defense, Yakov Taktarov kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jeffrey Huckerby. The F.C. United of Hull fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jeffrey Huckerby should have stopped the shot. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Warriors had played much better football throughout.
