Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Rogelio Espiridion made the kick off which started today's match. 3 minutes into the match, Rogelio Espiridion notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Canterbury's Martyn English. Martyn English was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Martyn English showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alex Zanardi in the 8th minute of the match. In the 9th match minute, Staffordshire Terrier FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clive Holloway to maneuver through the defense. When Dane Little fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Canterbury's protests and gave Dane Little a yellow card for diving instead. After 12 played minutes Canterbury got a freekick which was hit by Dane Little. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clive Holloway in the 15th minute of play forced Canterbury's goalkeeper Martyn English to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Canterbury booed when Staffordshire Terrier FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clive Holloway didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Ferdinando Braccia came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Staffordshire Terrier FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ferdinando Braccia couldn't finish the play. 28 minutes into the match, Clive Holloway had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Martyn English. Canterbury's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Clive Holloway was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Ferdinando Braccia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Staffordshire Terrier FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ferdinando Braccia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Martyn English breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ollie Hodgson hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Rogelio Espiridion was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 34th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Pepe Guardiola stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ryan Woolcock's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. 37 minutes into the game, Ferdinando Braccia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Martyn English was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After the first half Staffordshire Terrier FC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Ferdinando Braccia took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Martyn English. Martyn English dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. The supporters of Staffordshire Terrier FC booed when Canterbury was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ollie Hodgson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 59th minute Ruben Mellon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pepe Guardiola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ryan Woolcock in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pepe Guardiola saved Staffordshire Terrier FC from getting behind. In the 73rd minute Ruben Mellon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pepe Guardiola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Blair Griffin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dane Little made in the 79th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Ryan Woolcock immediately put the ball in play. Martyn English showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clive Holloway, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. After 84 played minutes Staffordshire Terrier FC got a freekick which was hit by Ferdinando Braccia. With a little luck, Canterbury's Martyn English got control of the ball when Ferdinando Braccia tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Canterbury fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Staffordshire Terrier FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
