Dream Team's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Metal the free kick. A collision led to Dream Team getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Edward Airton hit a great ball. Donny Cordingley kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Ruben Guest acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 6th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Edward Airton. If Rodney Rocastle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rowan Gower in the 12th minute of play forced FC Metal's goalkeeper Ruben Guest to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ruben Guest made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Dale Frost sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, FC Metal's Gary Brown got a free kick in the 19th minute. Ruben Guest showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rowan Gower in the 22nd minute of the match. FC Metal's Ruben Guest played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rowan Gower in the 24th minute of play. In the 26th minute, Dale Frost reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ruben Guest. The goal made the score 1-0. 30 minutes into the game, Dale Frost cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Ruben Guest was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Liam Holdroyd took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Richie Kennedy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 36th minute, Dale Frost made a precise shot to the right of Ruben Guest. FC Metal's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dale Frost got free with Ruben Guest in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Richie Kennedy made a kick off. Liam Holdroyd showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodney Rocastle, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Lawrence Tyler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Liam Holdroyd tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ruben Guest took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dale Frost, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lawrence Tyler received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Liam Holdroyd came out and tried to block the shot, but Lawrence Tyler slotted it home off the left post making it 4-1 in the 65th minute. FC Metal's Ruben Guest played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dale Frost in the 72nd minute of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 78th minute of the game. One of Dream Team:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC Metal:s goal. The goalkeeper, Liam Holdroyd, was totally fooled by FC Metal's Richie Kennedy, who 78 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Ruben Guest didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dale Frost went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-3 was the resulting score. Ruben Guest showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lloyd Laverick, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Richie Kennedy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of FC Metal booed when Dream Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Freddie Pearce didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Metal's Ruben Guest played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lloyd Laverick in the 92nd minute of play. Liam Holdroyd showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodney Rocastle in the 98th minute of the match. Many of FC Metal's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. FC Metal may have spent more time on the ball, but Dream Team were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
