Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Boscastle's Lenny Hutchins started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Smallfield FC booed when Boscastle was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gavin Hampshire didn't get a good kick on the ball. Louis Ashby received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Toby Browne tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lenny Hutchins in the 7th minute of play forced Smallfield FC's goalkeeper Jamie Dobson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Boscastle booed when Smallfield FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mark Pilkington didn't get a good kick on the ball. Howard Hardwick, 10 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Smallfield FC's Jamie Dobson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Smallfield FC from getting a goal against them. Smallfield FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 13th minute, when Thom Falkingham scored to the left of an out of position Jamie Dobson, making the score, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zackary Page in the 15th minute of play forced Smallfield FC's goalkeeper Jamie Dobson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mark Pilkington hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Dominik Blake took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jamie Dobson. Jamie Dobson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Jamie Dobson acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 25th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Howard Hardwick. With a little luck, Smallfield FC's Jamie Dobson got control of the ball when Dominik Blake tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 30 played minutes Smallfield FC got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Bridgewater. Jamie Dobson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lenny Hutchins in the 32nd minute of the match. Boscastle's Zackary Page got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mark Pilkington hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. In the 37th minute, Dominik Blake ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jamie Dobson was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Dominik Blake could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Jamie Dobson made a huge save. Jamie Dobson was a little too slow when Lenny Hutchins got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 44th minute. The score was now 4-0. When the match had gone on for 48 minutes, Dominik Blake took a quick shot and it went in 5-0 without a chance for Jamie Dobson to make any attempt to save it. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Louis Ashby to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Dominik Blake shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jamie Dobson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Toby Browne was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Kurt Delaney showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 5-1 in the 55 minute of play. In the 59th match minute, Smallfield FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mark Pilkington to maneuver through the defense. Jamie Dobson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lenny Hutchins, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Boscastle were awarded a corner in the 62th minute after Smallfield FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Howard Hardwick took the corner. 64 minutes into the match, Thom Falkingham had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jamie Dobson. Smallfield FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Thom Falkingham was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1. Jamie Dobson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lenny Hutchins in the 67th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lenny Hutchins in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jamie Dobson saved Smallfield FC from getting behind. Jamie Dobson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thom Falkingham in the 69th minute of play. Boscastle's defense didn't have a chance, in the 71st minute, when Louis Ashby scored to the left of an out of position Toby Browne, making the score, 6-2. 77 minutes into the match, Thom Falkingham notched a goal, 7-2, to the right of Smallfield FC's Jamie Dobson. Jamie Dobson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Louis Ashby kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Jamie Dobson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dominik Blake in the 87th minute of play. After 90 played minutes Smallfield FC got a freekick which was hit by Thom Deighton. Jamie Dobson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zackary Page in the 93rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lenny Hutchins in the 95th minute of play forced Smallfield FC's goalkeeper Jamie Dobson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thom Falkingham scored 9-2 in the 97th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jamie Dobson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. There was no doubt that Boscastle were the better team. Boscastle's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
