The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Lenny Hutchins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Liam Holdroyd having to interfere. If Dale Frost had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paul Richardson's late challenge caught a Dream Team's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Paul Richardson helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Boscastle's Paul Richardson got a free kick in the 13th minute. Lloyd Laverick had several of the Boscastle's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 16 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Toby Browne as he didn't even see the shot coming. Liam Holdroyd took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dominik Blake, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lloyd Laverick in the 28th minute of play forced Boscastle's goalkeeper Toby Browne to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dominik Blake sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 39 minutes into the match, Dream Team's goal looked a bit too open when Thom Falkingham came free, but Liam Holdroyd reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 40th minute of the match Dan Marler shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Toby Browne showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lloyd Laverick to make the kick off. Lloyd Laverick sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74th match minute, Dream Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Freddie Pearce to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Dream Team's Rowan Gower got a free kick in the 77th minute. Toby Browne showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dale Frost in the 79th minute of the match. 92 minutes into the match, Dream Team's goal looked a bit too open when Lenny Hutchins came free, but Liam Holdroyd reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 94 minutes into the game, Dream Team's Rowan Gower nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Toby Browne made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Dream Team's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
