An unexpectedly hard shot by Winnie Harrison in the 75th minute of play forced Skelmersdale's goalkeeper Steven Haugue to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Winnie Harrison kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. 90 minutes into the game, Pat Kitching was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Farnborough's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Skelmersdale the free kick. Steven Haugue showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tod Wardill in the 96th minute of the match. Skelmersdale's Steven Haugue played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tod Wardill in the 98th minute of play. Skelmersdale were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
