The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 4th minute of the game. One of Beverley Saints F.C.:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Kidmore End City:s goal. When the match had been going on for 5 minutes, Kidmore End City's Billie Shackleton got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Stuart Sawyer. In the 7th play minute Billie Shackleton came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Stuart Sawyer. 2-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nathanial Ottaway in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Stuart Sawyer saved Beverley Saints F.C. from getting behind. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Beverley Saints F.C.'s goalkeeper Stuart Sawyer, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Stuart Sawyer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Billie Shackleton in the 24th minute. 25 minutes into the match, Beverley Saints F.C.'s goalkeeper Stuart Sawyer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Billie Shackleton. Tommy Clarkson hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. 29 minutes into the match, Kidmore End City's Nathanial Ottaway sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Stuart Sawyer narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Nathanial Ottaway fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stuart Sawyer having to interfere. Beverley Saints F.C.'s Stuart Sawyer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nathanial Ottaway in the 36th minute of play. Samuel Evans might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Carl Frampton. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Samuel Evans ran back to his position shaking his head.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Giles Gray during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Kidmore End City getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Giles Gray hit a great ball. Billie Shackleton took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Stuart Sawyer. Stuart Sawyer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. After a defensive mix-up in Beverley Saints F.C.'s zone, Allan Hargrave stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stuart Sawyer came out of the goal and Allan Hargrave tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Stuart Sawyer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Allan Hargrave, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. After 84 played minutes Beverley Saints F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Samuel Evans. Nathanial Ottaway sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Kidmore End City had won after a very even match.
