Matthew Potter hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. It was a well-played corner which Jim Branson managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Warren Golding was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 98th minute. Appleshaw FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Appleshaw FC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
