Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Trev Lydiate took the kick off in the first half of the match. Dale Hough showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nathanial Ottaway in the 3rd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nathanial Ottaway in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dale Hough prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dale Hough stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nathanial Ottaway's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. Dale Hough showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Allan Hargrave, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Matthew Potter kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Nathanial Ottaway recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Warren Golding's late challenge caught a Kidmore End City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Warren Golding helped the player get up and apologised. After 19 played minutes Appleshaw FC got a freekick which was hit by Ross Sheringham. When the match clock showed 22 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Billie Shackleton sped through Appleshaw FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dale Hough. After a rather tough play, Appleshaw FC's Trev Lydiate got a free kick in the 25th minute. Dale Hough showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nathanial Ottaway, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. In the 27thth minute of the game Nathanial Ottaway who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Appleshaw FC's Dale Hough was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Nathanial Ottaway managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kidmore End City's supporters rose to their feet, but Nathanial Ottaway was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dale Hough breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Kidmore End City booed when Appleshaw FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matthew Potter didn't get a good kick on the ball. 0-2 became the score in the 38th minute when Billie Shackleton elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Warren Golding fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carl Frampton having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Nathanial Ottaway blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dale Hough having to make a save. Kidmore End City's Carl Frampton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matthew Potter in the 62nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Appleshaw FC's Danny Fawcett got a free kick in the 64th minute. Nathanial Ottaway sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Appleshaw FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 69th minute, when Allan Hargrave scored to the left of an out of position Dale Hough, making the score, 0-3. When Sonny Copsey fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Appleshaw FC's protests and gave Sonny Copsey a yellow card for diving instead. In the 75th match minute, Kidmore End City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Billie Shackleton to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Appleshaw FC's Dale Hough got control of the ball when Billie Shackleton tried to sneak it across the goal line. Billie Shackleton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dale Hough having to interfere. Dale Hough made an important save on a dangerous shot by Billie Shackleton in the 93rd minute. Nathanial Ottaway recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 98th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Kidmore End City walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
