After having played for 20 minutes, Gus Weir managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. An unexpected shot in the 33rd minute by Bart Easton got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Lucas Vaughn charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Tim Bullard was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gus Weir showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 8-0 in the 47 minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 8-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Franz Holmes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Byron Bull fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick.
