Spectators: 6600 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 100) Trevor Fairbank made the kick off and thus started the match. Tyrone Whittington fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Grant Rooney having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Trevor Fairbank in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jordan Pickford prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Evolution's zone, Pär Forsberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Grant Rooney came out of the goal and Pär Forsberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pär Forsberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Grant Rooney made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pär Forsberg in the 20th minute of play forced Evolution's goalkeeper Grant Rooney to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tyrone Whittington received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Grant Rooney tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Robert Wring fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Grant Rooney having to interfere. In the 23rd match minute, Evolution was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rueben Rockey to maneuver through the defense. 25 minutes into the game, Fermín Vicente was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Malvinas Argentinas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Evolution the free kick. After a rather tough play, Malvinas Argentinas's Fermín Vicente got a free kick in the 25th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Pär Forsberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Malvinas Argentinas's supporters rose to their feet, but Pär Forsberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Grant Rooney breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 37 minutes into the match, Evolution's goalkeeper Grant Rooney had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tyrone Whittington. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tyrone Whittington in the 39th minute of play forced Evolution's goalkeeper Grant Rooney to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Robert Wring scored 3-0 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Grant Rooney, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Robert Wring might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Grant Rooney. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Robert Wring ran back to his position shaking his head. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The wind increased when Robert Wring made the kick off in the second half. Robert Wring scored 4-0 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Grant Rooney, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Robert Wring sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Robert Wring recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A hard shot 72 in the game by Trevor Fairbank from a close distance when the talented Jordan Pickford managed to make a qualified save. Malvinas Argentinas's players were relieved. In the 73rd minute Robert Wring shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Grant Rooney saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Evolution defense, Pär Forsberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Grant Rooney. The Evolution fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Grant Rooney should have stopped the shot. Grant Rooney showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pär Forsberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. In the 80th minute, Franz Hamer made a precise shot to the right of Grant Rooney. Evolution's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. When Lloyd Summerfield fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Evolution's protests and gave Lloyd Summerfield a yellow card for diving instead. Lloyd Summerfield kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. If Pär Forsberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Robert Wring sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Franz Hamer took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Grant Rooney. Grant Rooney dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. When the referee ended the match the Malvinas Argentinas players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
