Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Curtis Christie took the kick off in the first half of the match. Darren Woods kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Geoff Beck was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 4th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 6th minute, Joel Mayfield made a precise shot to the right of Joseph Jump. Shoreham by Sea's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Joseph Jump made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wayne Shipton in the 10th minute of play. Joseph Jump showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Mayfield in the 11th minute of the match. Wayne Shipton charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wayne Shipton the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 13 played minutes Alne AFC got a freekick which was hit by Wayne Shipton. Jo Bloom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jordan Eadan, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. The supporters of Shoreham by Sea booed when Alne AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Darren Woods didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jo Bloom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geoff Beck, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Jo Bloom didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 18th minute, which inside left pole to 1-1. Jordan Eadan's late challenge caught a Alne AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jordan Eadan helped the player get up and apologised. Jordan Eadan kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. In the 24th minute, Joel Mayfield left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Alne AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. In the 27th minute Wayne Shipton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joseph Jump saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joseph Jump made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Mayfield in the 28th minute of play. In the 37th match minute, Alne AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Al Green to maneuver through the defense. In the 41st minute Curtis Christie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jo Bloom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Al Green kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. With a little luck, Alne AFC's Jo Bloom got control of the ball when Geoff Beck tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wayne Shipton in the 46th minute of play forced Shoreham by Sea's goalkeeper Joseph Jump to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The wind increased when Wayne Shipton made the kick off in the second half. Franz Billing could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Joseph Jump made a huge save. Jo Bloom came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Shoreham by Sea's Barry Flintoff. But to his dismay, Barry Flintoff quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Alne AFC's Jo Bloom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geoff Beck in the 58th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wayne Shipton in the 66th minute of play forced Shoreham by Sea's goalkeeper Joseph Jump to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 67th minute, Jordan Eadan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 74th minute, Barry Flintoff hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 76 minutes into the match, Shoreham by Sea's goalkeeper Joseph Jump had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joel Mayfield. An unexpectedly hard shot by Owen Barfield in the 77th minute of play forced Alne AFC's goalkeeper Jo Bloom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 78 minutes of play Alne AFC's Al Green was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. An unexpectedly hard shot by Curtis Christie in the 81st minute of play forced Alne AFC's goalkeeper Jo Bloom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 86th match minute, Shoreham by Sea was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Spike Hughes to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot 92 in the game by Joel Mayfield from a close distance when the talented Joseph Jump managed to make a qualified save. Shoreham by Sea's players were relieved. After 95 played minutes Shoreham by Sea got a freekick which was hit by Jordan Eadan. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
