Kristopher Wrigley was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 13 minutes into the game, Kristian Thorne was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cullompton United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Emsworth the free kick. In the 13th minute, Kristian Thorne hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Cullompton United's zone, Victor Hewitt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kristopher Wrigley came out of the goal and Victor Hewitt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 21stth minute of the game Liam Milner who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cullompton United's Kristopher Wrigley was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Emsworth's Liam Milner in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cullompton United's goalie prevented a goal. Leo Dearden was extremely unlucky when he, in the 28th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Cullompton United's Kristopher Wrigley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victor Hewitt in the 30th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Cullompton United's zone, Liam Milner stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kristopher Wrigley came out of the goal and Liam Milner tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Emsworth's Victor Hewitt got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 44th minute, Leo Dearden reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Kris Arrowsmith. The goal made the score 1-1. 47 minutes into the match, Liam Milner notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Cullompton United's Kristopher Wrigley. Kristopher Wrigley was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After the first half Emsworth were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Liam Milner made the kick off in the second half. Liam Milner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Victor Hewitt who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 55thth minute tested the skills of Kristopher Wrigley when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 56th minute of the match, Victor Hewitt got a very nice opportunity to score, but Kristopher Wrigley was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Kris Arrowsmith made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Len Knight in the 58th minute of play. In the 59th match minute, Emsworth was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Connor Letheren to maneuver through the defense. 63 minutes into the match, Cullompton United's goalkeeper Kristopher Wrigley had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Victor Hewitt. In the 64th minute, Leo Dearden hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Victor Hewitt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Emsworth's supporters rose to their feet, but Victor Hewitt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kristopher Wrigley breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With his leg Kristopher Wrigley managed to avoid a goal in the 66thth minute, when Emsworth's Victor Hewitt fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A collision led to Cullompton United getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Kristian Thorne hit a great ball. Victor Hewitt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Kristopher Wrigley made a huge save. In the 83rd minute, Liam Milner got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Victor Hewitt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Connor Letheren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Kristopher Wrigley made a huge save. Victor Hewitt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Liam Milner's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kristopher Wrigley was relentless in the 95th minute of the game.
