Kris Arrowsmith made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Den Vaughn in the 8th minute of play. After 10 minutes, Liam Milner mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Emsworth and the Battersea players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 11 played minutes Emsworth got a freekick which was hit by Liam Milner. Den Vaughn hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. In the 14th match minute, Battersea was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dean Bibby to maneuver through the defense. 16 minutes into the game, Liam Milner recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Buster Tyrell. Liam Milner showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Andy Storry fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Buster Tyrell having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Victor Hewitt took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Buster Tyrell to make any attempt to save it. A hard shot 26 in the game by Victor Hewitt from a close distance when the talented Buster Tyrell managed to make a qualified save. Battersea's players were relieved. Jools Moorhouse received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Kris Arrowsmith tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jools Moorhouse in the 29th minute of play forced Emsworth's goalkeeper Kris Arrowsmith to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Connor Letheren received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Buster Tyrell came out and tried to block the shot, but Connor Letheren slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 31st minute. In the 34th minute, Jay Crichton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Emsworth's Victor Hewitt in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Battersea's goalie prevented a goal. Victor Hewitt took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Buster Tyrell. Buster Tyrell dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. With 47 minutes on the clock, Conal Thompson commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Conal Thompson kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. After 49 played minutes, Emsworth's Connor Letheren shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Buster Tyrell came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Emsworth reached it. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Liam Milner stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, Emsworth was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gwyn Togwell to maneuver through the defense. Buster Tyrell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Connor Letheren, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. After a rather tough play, Battersea's Conan French got a free kick in the 57th minute. 66 minutes into the match, Battersea's Conan French sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kris Arrowsmith narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Buster Tyrell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victor Hewitt in the 70th minute of the match. A nice corner shot did that Connor Letheren got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Buster Tyrell quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Andy Storry scored 5-0 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Buster Tyrell, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Conan French did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 5-1 to the left of a surprised Kris Arrowsmith 79 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Connor Letheren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Emsworth's supporters rose to their feet, but Connor Letheren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Buster Tyrell breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Buster Tyrell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victor Hewitt in the 84th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victor Hewitt in the 85th minute of play forced Battersea's goalkeeper Buster Tyrell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Buster Tyrell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor Hewitt in the 88th minute of play. In the 92nd minute Dean Bibby suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Victor Hewitt charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Victor Hewitt the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 93 played minutes Emsworth got a freekick which was hit by Victor Hewitt. Conan French sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 96 minutes into the match, Victor Hewitt notched a goal, 6-1, to the right of Battersea's Buster Tyrell. Buster Tyrell was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Emsworth walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
