After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

After a rather tough play, Viking Rovers's Andy Windsor got a free kick in the 93rd minute. In the 94th match minute, Viking Rovers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sean Jewson to maneuver through the defense. Marlon Hedley, 95 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 97th minute, Ronnie Emberson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matty Cole in the 98th minute of play forced Viking Rovers's goalkeeper Phil Guest to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
