In the 36th match minute, Alne AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Franz Billing to maneuver through the defense. In the 39th minute, Chesney Stonehouse got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jo Bloom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeffrey Colley, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Jo Bloom showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeffrey Colley in the 43rd minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Grant Rooney came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by Alne AFC's Joel Mayfield. But to his dismay, Joel Mayfield quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 55 minutes into the match, Evolution's goal looked a bit too open when Robbie Partridge came free, but Grant Rooney reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Evolution's Jeffrey Colley slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jo Bloom. That made the score 1-1 after 60 minutes of play. Grant Rooney showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wayne Shipton in the 67th minute of the match. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Evolution's goalkeeper Grant Rooney, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Franz Billing during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Franz Billing kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Robbie Partridge recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 88th minute, Kelvin Amos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chesney Stonehouse received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Jo Bloom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Evolution players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Alne AFC.
