Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Peter Hewitt took the kick off in the first half of the match. Stratton City's Tosh Swain played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ralph Burley in the 3rd minute of play. In the 6th minute, Peter Hewitt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. John Harkin scored 1-0 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tosh Swain, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 15 minutes into the match, Barnetby Le Wold's goal looked a bit too open when Peter Hewitt came free, but Adrian Grainger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tosh Swain made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when John Harkin sent off a good shot on target. In the 26th minute Peter Hewitt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrian Grainger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 33 minutes into the match, Stratton City's goalkeeper Tosh Swain had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by John Harkin. John Paul Holmes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adrian Grainger having to interfere. Tosh Swain showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ralph Burley, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Barnetby Le Wold's Adrian Grainger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by John Paul Holmes in the 42nd minute of play. John Harkin came free with the goalkeeper in the 47th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Tosh Swain could save by the left post. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for John Harkin to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that John Harkin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tosh Swain was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. Dane Holdroyd took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tosh Swain. Tosh Swain dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Tosh Swain made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from John Harkin in the 60th minute of play. In the 70th match minute, Stratton City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fred Sutton to maneuver through the defense. In the 71st minute, Dane Holdroyd left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Barnetby Le Wold fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Tosh Swain showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dane Holdroyd in the 75th minute of the match. A collision led to Stratton City getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Brynn Kennedy hit a great ball. John Paul Holmes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. John Paul Holmes kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Tosh Swain showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from John Harkin, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute.
