Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Peter Hewitt took the kick off in the first half of the match. Skadoosh !'s Craig Cole proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Skadoosh ! from getting a goal against them. Buster Langsford sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 12 minutes into the match, Stratton City's goal looked a bit too open when Charles Beadle came free, but Tosh Swain reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tosh Swain took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Al Talbot, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tosh Swain showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patrick Brough in the 17th minute of the match. In the 19th minute Patrick Brough shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tosh Swain saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stratton City's Tosh Swain played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charles Beadle in the 20th minute of play. Buster Langsford's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tosh Swain read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. Buster Langsford received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Tosh Swain tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Stratton City's Barney Butt got a free kick in the 27th minute. Skadoosh !'s Charles Beadle got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tosh Swain made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Al Talbot in the 29th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Charles Beadle in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tosh Swain prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 31 minutes into the game, Patrick Brough cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Tosh Swain was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tosh Swain showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Al Talbot in the 38th minute of the match. Tosh Swain showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Buster Langsford, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

With a little luck, Stratton City's Tosh Swain got control of the ball when Al Talbot tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Charles Beadle came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Skadoosh ! fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Charles Beadle couldn't finish the play. Tosh Swain made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patrick Brough in the 66th minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, Patrick Brough notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Stratton City's Tosh Swain. Tosh Swain was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. John Paul Holmes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Craig Cole having to interfere. Tosh Swain showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Buster Langsford, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. In the 84th minute of the match, Buster Langsford tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Tosh Swain saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Brynn Kennedy hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Buster Langsford sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle sounded Skadoosh ! left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Stratton City.
