Spectators: 7473 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1873, VIP seats: 100) Craig Cole made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jude Bonham in the 4th minute. After having played for 7 minutes, Neil Barnes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bognor Regis's supporters crossed their fingers, but Neil Barnes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A hard shot 9 in the game by Neil Barnes from a close distance when the talented Craig Cole managed to make a qualified save. Skadoosh !'s players were relieved. After 11 played minutes Bognor Regis got a freekick which was hit by Eric Burnham. Edward Cheetham showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Charles Beadle, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Craig Cole made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Neil Barnes sent off a good shot on target. Craig Cole made an important save on a dangerous shot by Neil Barnes in the 16th minute. Skadoosh !'s Al Talbot got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Neil Barnes got free with Craig Cole in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Buster Langsford blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edward Cheetham having to make a save. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Neil Barnes took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Craig Cole to make any attempt to save it. 40 minutes into the game, Skadoosh !'s Buster Langsford nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edward Cheetham made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Craig Cole took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jude Bonham, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Neil Barnes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Skadoosh !'s goal looked a bit too open when Neil Barnes came free, but Craig Cole reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 53rd minute Bognor Regis were awarded a corner. Pierre Welsh went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Bognor Regis's Pierre Welsh to fire away a dangerous shot which Craig Cole despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Al Talbot could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Edward Cheetham made a huge save. In the 58th minute Jude Bonham shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Craig Cole saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Craig Cole made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jude Bonham in the 61st minute of play. Jude Bonham blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Craig Cole having to make a save. Al Talbot struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Edward Cheetham didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Skadoosh !. In the 66thth minute of the game Jude Bonham who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Skadoosh !'s Craig Cole was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Patrick Brough received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Edward Cheetham came out and tried to block the shot, but Patrick Brough slotted it home off the left post making it 3-2 in the 72nd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Chesney Harrison during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Bognor Regis getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Chesney Harrison hit a great ball. Ray Duggan took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 78th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Edward Cheetham. Bognor Regis's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Craig Cole came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Bognor Regis's Neil Barnes. But to his dismay, Neil Barnes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. Skadoosh !'s Craig Cole played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Neil Barnes in the 93rd minute of play. Bognor Regis walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
