Spectators: 7961 (Terracing: 5972, Seating: 1831, VIP seats: 158) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Peter Hewitt started the match with the kick off. Brynn Kennedy kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. I Love You Debra's Niall Hicks got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 9 minutes, Brynn Kennedy mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Stratton City and the I Love You Debra players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 9th minute, Brynn Kennedy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kristian Brighton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tosh Swain came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by I Love You Debra's Norman Farrow. But to his dismay, Norman Farrow quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Fred Sutton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 22nd match minute, Stratton City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fred Sutton to maneuver through the defense. Tosh Swain made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samuel Nicholson in the 34th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Norman Farrow got free with Tosh Swain in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Stratton City's Tosh Swain proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Stratton City from getting a goal against them. Stratton City's Tosh Swain played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brendon Scargill in the 43rd minute of play. In the 45th match minute, Stratton City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brynn Kennedy to maneuver through the defense.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Norman Farrow to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Norman Farrow got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Trevor Abbotts had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, I Love You Debra's Kristian Brighton got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Brian Meechan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fred Sutton in the 55th minute of play. The audience thought it was a sure goal in the 58th minute, when Stratton City's Trevor Dodgson after having done a great run through the defense got himself free with Brian Meechan in I Love You Debra's goal and fired away a shot, but it missed the goal by a fraction of an inch. If Fred Sutton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 71 minutes into the match, Stratton City's goal looked a bit too open when Brendon Scargill came free, but Tosh Swain reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Trevor Dodgson during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 74thth minute of the game Norman Farrow who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Stratton City's Tosh Swain was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When I Love You Debra's Norman Farrow in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Stratton City's goalie prevented a goal. Thanks to some nice moves Trevor Dodgson could shoot a difficult shot in the 78th minute, which Brian Meechan however easily saved by the left post. 82 minutes into the match, Stratton City's goal looked a bit too open when Norman Farrow came free, but Tosh Swain reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kristian Brighton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tosh Swain having to interfere. Stratton City's Trevor Dodgson got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 89 minutes into the game, Simeon Rowland was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Stratton City's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave I Love You Debra the free kick. In the 89th minute, Simeon Rowland hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Norman Farrow in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tosh Swain saved Stratton City from getting behind. When the referee ended the match the I Love You Debra players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
