Buster Langsford sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Dunton Green United's zone, Buster Langsford stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luke Goodwick came out of the goal and Buster Langsford tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Caleb Wadham's late challenge caught a Skadoosh !'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Caleb Wadham helped the player get up and apologised. Buster Langsford received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Luke Goodwick tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Charles Beadle managed to get in a good position for a shot. Skadoosh !'s supporters rose to their feet, but Charles Beadle was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luke Goodwick breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Buster Langsford received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Luke Goodwick tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Andre Lappin came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Dunton Green United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andre Lappin couldn't finish the play. Buster Langsford fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luke Goodwick having to interfere. Andre Lappin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Craig Cole tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Charles Beadle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dunton Green United's Luke Goodwick played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Buster Langsford in the 37th minute of play. 39 minutes into the match, Dunton Green United's Andre Lappin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Craig Cole narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Charles Beadle got free with Luke Goodwick in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Luke Goodwick showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Buster Langsford, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Luke Goodwick took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Buster Langsford, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Buster Langsford to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Charles Beadle in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luke Goodwick prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Iain Browne struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Craig Cole didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dunton Green United. After 63 minutes, Casey Lowndes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dunton Green United and the Skadoosh ! players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Dunton Green United fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 62nd minute. Penalty! The referee gave Skadoosh ! a penalty, 64 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ray Duggan, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Dunton Green United's Luke Goodwick. 1-0. In the 76th minute, Skadoosh !'s goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Andre Lappin fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 83rd minute of the match Jerry Hooker sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luke Goodwick skillfully saved the ball. Buster Langsford sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
