Luke Goodwick took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marty Higginson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Caleb Wadham fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dunton Green United's protests and gave Caleb Wadham a yellow card for diving instead. Marty Higginson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luke Goodwick having to interfere. In the 27th minute, Iain Browne made a precise shot to the right of Dom Cullen. Huddersfield FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Iain Browne recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marty Higginson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luke Goodwick having to interfere. Roy Gower fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luke Goodwick having to interfere. A collision led to Huddersfield FC getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Karl Picker hit a great ball. The Dunton Green United fans' excitement grew in the 38th match minute when Dunton Green United's Iain Browne looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a rather tough play, Dunton Green United's Rio Bateson got a free kick in the 41st minute. Paul Scholes hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Huddersfield FC's Dom Cullen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iain Browne in the 55th minute of play. In the 56th minute, Iain Browne got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 58 minutes, Edward Silvester managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dunton Green United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edward Silvester was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 61 played minutes Huddersfield FC got a freekick which was hit by Jeremy Haley. 64 minutes into the match, Edward Silvester had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dom Cullen. Huddersfield FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edward Silvester was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Luke Goodwick stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Roy Gower's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Steve Shephard during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Steve Shephard kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Roy Gower managed to get in a good position for a shot. Huddersfield FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Roy Gower was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luke Goodwick breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jeremy Haley charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jeremy Haley the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 80 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Huddersfield FC! Marty Higginson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luke Goodwick showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roy Gower, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. When Marty Higginson came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Huddersfield FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marty Higginson couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nicky Harrison during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 95th match minute, Dunton Green United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicky Harrison to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marty Higginson got free with Luke Goodwick in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Iain Browne fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dom Cullen having to interfere. When the referee blew the final whistle, Dunton Green United could leave the field as winners, despite Huddersfield FC having more of the ball for most of the match.
