When the match had been going on for 5 minutes, Whitworth's Rupert Ingram got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Rolf Harris. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tom Leighton in the 8th minute of play forced Iconic legends's goalkeeper Rolf Harris to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rupert Varley came free with the goalkeeper in the 9th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Rolf Harris could save by the left post. In the 13th minute, Joseph Crouch got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rolf Harris made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rupert Varley in the 15th minute. Rupert Varley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Rolf Harris tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 22nd minute Tom Leighton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolf Harris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Rupert Varley managed to get in a good position for a shot. Whitworth's supporters rose to their feet, but Rupert Varley was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rolf Harris breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Iconic legends's goalkeeper Rolf Harris, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Iconic legends's Rolf Harris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tom Leighton in the 45th minute of play. Rupert Varley's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 47thth minute, Rolf Harris skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Iconic legends's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tom Leighton was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Whitworth fans cheered their team off the field, for while Iconic legends had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
