Seating: 1881, VIP seats: 100) 7 minutes into the match, Bognor Regis's goal looked a bit too open when Iain Browne came free, but Edward Cheetham reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Dunton Green United's Steve Shephard got a free kick in the 9th minute. Edward Silvester sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Steve Shephard recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luke Goodwick showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jude Bonham in the 27th minute of the match. 28 minutes into the game, Neil Barnes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Luke Goodwick was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Eric Burnham kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Bognor Regis's zone, Iain Browne stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edward Cheetham came out of the goal and Iain Browne tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Bognor Regis fans' excitement grew in the 34th match minute when Bognor Regis's Jude Bonham looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 38 minutes into the game, Neil Barnes recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Luke Goodwick. Neil Barnes showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. Steve Shephard charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Steve Shephard the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Neil Barnes didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 4-0 via right post in the game's 41st minute. Bognor Regis's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The wind increased when Neil Barnes made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 53 minutes, Neil Barnes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bognor Regis's supporters crossed their fingers, but Neil Barnes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 55 minutes into the game, Iain Browne was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dunton Green United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bognor Regis the free kick. A collision led to Dunton Green United getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Iain Browne hit a great ball. After 59 minutes of play, Dunton Green United's Edward Silvester made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edward Cheetham was left in no man's land by his defense there! 62 minutes into the match, Dunton Green United's goal looked a bit too open when Jude Bonham came free, but Luke Goodwick reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rodney Mason sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luke Goodwick made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Neil Barnes in the 66th minute of play. Bognor Regis's Jude Bonham got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bognor Regis's Hugh Eldridge was substituted for Gaz Deaconsfield. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jude Bonham in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luke Goodwick saved Dunton Green United from getting behind. After 75 played minutes Bognor Regis got a freekick which was hit by Chesney Harrison. In the 76th minute of the match Casey Lowndes shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Edward Cheetham showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Luke Goodwick didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Bognor Regis's Jude Bonham shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 5-1 in the ordered_time% minute. The supporters of Bognor Regis booed when Dunton Green United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Steve Shephard didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jude Bonham took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luke Goodwick. Luke Goodwick dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-1. After 90 played minutes Dunton Green United got a freekick which was hit by Jack Turnbull. In the 95th match minute, Dunton Green United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edward Silvester to maneuver through the defense. After 96 played minutes, Bognor Regis's Denis Rathmell shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Luke Goodwick came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Bognor Regis reached it. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Bognor Regis fully deserved thier win.
