Damion Shuttleworth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Dom Cullen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pat Prince got free with Dom Cullen in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Paul Scholes was shown his second yellow card after 48 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of FC Muie Steaua booed when Huddersfield FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 49 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paul Scholes didn't get a good kick on the ball.
