I Love You Debra's Brian Meechan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save I Love You Debra from getting a goal against them. Ralph Burley kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Brian Meechan made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Dane Holdroyd sent off a good shot on target. After 10 played minutes Barnetby Le Wold got a freekick which was hit by Ralph Burley. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dane Holdroyd got free with Brian Meechan in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dane Holdroyd scored 1-0 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Brian Meechan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 20th minute, Brendon Scargill hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ralph Burley's late challenge caught a I Love You Debra's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ralph Burley helped the player get up and apologised. After 24 played minutes Barnetby Le Wold got a freekick which was hit by Ralph Burley. I Love You Debra's attentive Edward Boyle managed to snatch the ball when Jack Ingram made a throw-in in the 27th minute of the game. 27 minutes into the match, Barnetby Le Wold's goal looked a bit too open when Edward Boyle came free, but Adrian Grainger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Chip Mowlem during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Chip Mowlem kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Norman Farrow in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adrian Grainger prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 34th match minute, I Love You Debra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brendon Scargill to maneuver through the defense. Brian Meechan made an important save on a dangerous shot by John Harkin in the 35th minute. Brian Meechan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dane Holdroyd in the 37th minute of the match. 38 minutes into the match, I Love You Debra's goalkeeper Brian Meechan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by John Harkin. The crowd rose to their feet as Barnetby Le Wold's Ralph Burley slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Brian Meechan. That made the score 2-0 after 44 minutes of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.
