Dunton Green United's Steve Shephard got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luke Goodwick showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alan Longstaff in the 12th minute of the match. Luke Goodwick showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alastair Noble, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. When Steve Shephard fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dunton Green United's protests and gave Steve Shephard a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Dunton Green United getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Steve Shephard hit a great ball. Alastair Noble kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Edward Silvester took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Steven Carey-Bertram. Steven Carey-Bertram dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. 25 minutes into the match, Edward Silvester had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Steven Carey-Bertram. Timperley United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edward Silvester was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 28th match minute, Timperley United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ty Challis to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Dunton Green United getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Caleb Wadham hit a great ball. Luke Goodwick took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alan Longstaff, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 36 minutes of play Dunton Green United's Steve Shephard was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 37 played minutes Dunton Green United got a freekick which was hit by Steve Shephard. Luke Goodwick showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alan Longstaff, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Timperley United's Steven Carey-Bertram played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicky Harrison in the 52nd minute of play. With an all-out effort, Timperley United's Luke Goodwick threw himself towards the right post 58 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jack Noble, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Luke Goodwick was out of position in the 79 minute of play, and Alan Longstaff capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Alan Longstaff really showed his touch with that goal: 3-2. Alastair Noble scored 3-3 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luke Goodwick, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. During the 88th minute of the match Leon Cross completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Leon Cross a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 89 played minutes Timperley United got a freekick which was hit by Leon Cross. Steven Carey-Bertram made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caleb Wadham in the 92nd minute of play. Steven Carey-Bertram made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edward Silvester in the 96th minute of play. Dunton Green United's Iain Browne got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
